An "account" in CeeWealth is just any balance you want to track - a bank account, an ISA, a pension, a mortgage, even a car you'd count as an asset.

Steps

  1. Go to Accounts from the sidebar.
  2. Select Add account.
  3. Give it a name you'll recognise later - "Monzo Current Account" is more useful six months from now than "Account 1".
  4. Choose a type: cash, investment, pension, property, crypto, or liability.
  5. Enter today's balance and save.

A note on naming

Name accounts however makes sense to you. Some people use bank names, others use purpose ("House deposit", "Emergency fund") - there's no wrong way, as long as future-you can tell them apart at a glance.

What about joint accounts or shared debts?

Add them at the value that's genuinely yours. If you split a mortgage 50/50, some people track half the balance; others track the full amount and note it in the name. Be consistent with whichever approach you pick.

Once you've added a couple of accounts, check out Understanding your net worth dashboard to see how they come together.
