The tax year report pulls together everything you've logged - income, dividends, interest and capital gains - into one HMRC-aligned summary.
Where to find it
Go to Reports and select the current or a previous tax year (6 April - 5 April).
What's included
- Employment, freelance and rental income totals.
- Dividend income against the current £500 allowance.
- Realised capital gains and losses, with your Annual Exempt Amount tracked automatically.
- Interest income across your logged cash accounts.
Using it for Self Assessment
The report is structured to roughly match the boxes on the Government Gateway, so you can copy figures across without digging back through statements. It doesn't file anything on your behalf - always double check figures before submitting.
Keeping it accurate
The report is only as good as what's logged. Recording sales and dividends as they happen (rather than reconstructing them later) keeps this report reliable when you actually need it.
